Explain why you chose this particular term to discuss and why you feel it is important to advanced nursing practice. 3.Discuss the role, responsibility, competencies, and value of the nurse informaticist in the development, application, and integration of healthcare technology. 4.Evaluate the ways quality assurance/improvement and clinical outcome measurements are supported by clinical information systems. 5.Discuss the development of new drugs in the United States as compared to other countries and evaluate the pharmacoeconomic issues that lead to high prescription costs in the United States. 6.There are several drug classifications (e.g., benzodiazepines, ACE inhibitors). Choose a classification and one drug within that classification and discuss the pharmacological aspects of this particular drug.
