The recent cases of piracy

I want you to look back through the recent cases of piracy. You can use a case from the court cases and real time reports or you can use the case described by Jatin Dua. Choose one.

Then choose a primary source document from Pirates in the Age of Sail. (I will send a pdf of some primary documents).
I want you to compare the two incidents of piracy. "Compare" means that you will answer the question "what is similar about the two cases?"
In the first paragraph of your answer, make sure you tell me which incident and which document you are comparing. The last line of your first paragraph should be a thesis statement -- that is, a one-sentence answer to the question. After that, you should find at least three similarities, and explain each similarity in a paragraph.
