1). Use the Turnover Rate Calculation Spreadsheet to calculate your company’s turnover rate (attached and
completed). Write a 2-page summary of your experience. Respond to the following items in your summary:
• Summarize your overall findings. Describe the overall results.
• What were the reasons for the high or lower turnover rate?
• What if anything, would you change about your company’s approach to staffing to reduce the turnover
rate?
• What did you learn from this exercise? Do you feel this exercise is helpful as a HR professional?
