Using theories and concepts taught in Semester 2, as well as insights from industry and market reports, conduct a value chain analysis AND a resource-based analysis for a company of your choice to assess the firm’s core strengths and weaknesses and outline competitive opportunities.
In your analysis you are required to:

  1. Identify your company value chain primary and supportive activities and outline how each one contributes to or hinders organizational objectives
  2. Determine which activities provide the greatest opportunity to gain acostor differentiation competitive advantage
  3. Identify your company’s key tangible and intangible resources(theirassets, capabilities and competence) and outline how each one contributes to or hinders organizational objectives
  4. Determine which dynamic marketing capabilities your company possesses and how they are exploited
  5. Based on your overall analysis,outline 2 recommendations that can helpyour company improve their sustainable competitive advantage
