Hello everyone! I’m thrilled to be hosting our company blog this week. After watching the video on Skills for Leading the Future of Work, it’s clear that we aren’t just entering a new chapter in business; we are writing an entirely new book.
One of our team members reached out with some heavy-hitting questions about the "tech-takeover" and how it changes the soul of our workplace. Here is my perspective as your HRM lead:
Is there a risk that technology will over-power life as we know it?
Technology won't "over-power" life, but it will certainly reorder it. The risk isn't that robots will take our seats, but that we might lose the "human-centric" focus that makes work meaningful.
The future belongs to those who practice Augmented Intelligence—using tech to handle the mundane (data entry, scheduling) so that humans can focus on what tech can’t do: empathy, complex ethics, and creative strategy. If we let tech dictate our pace without boundaries, we risk burnout. If we use it as a tool, we reclaim our time.
