write 10 summaries on information of a psychological nature

PY 101—Course Project: The course project for PY 101 consists of writing 10 “article” summaries on anything related to psychology. The objective of this project is to demonstrate how frequently we come in contact with information that can be considered “psychological” in nature. A second objective is to encourage students to look at a variety of sources and topics in completing this project. Each summary is worth 10 points. Please submit each summary to you instructor via email. If you have any questions about the project, please feel free to contact your instructor . Each summary should include the following information: 1. Author (if available) 2. Title of the article or book (TV show, movie, etc.) 3. Source (title of newspaper, magazine, etc.) 4. Date of publication (or airing or date retrieved from the Internet) 5. A 50-100 word summary of the information in your own words!!! 6. Your own personal evaluation of the information (Did you like it? Was it useful? Would you recommend it to someone else?) There are a wide variety of information sources that deal with psychology. Some of these include: Scientific journals Up to date, academic sources of information. Journals represent the “cutting edge” of the discipline. Journal articles can often be very difficult to read because of the use of highly technical language, but can also be a very rewarding source of information because of how current the information is and the relative assurance that the data was collected with rigor. Journals are most often found in college and university libraries, through the use of data bases, such as ProQuest, and some also publish their articles online. Examples of psychological journals are: American Psychologist Child Development Journal of Abnormal Psychology Journal of Applied Psychology
